Subscribed. The peace-of-mind not worrying about hand-automating solar-following charging is worth at least as much as the $savings in avoided grid usage and avoided negative-FIT exports in summer.
A lot less per year than the bunch of flowers or dinner I’d have to buy if other family members found the car insufficiently charged when it was needed.
As for buying a native solar-aware charger - that was going to be more than $1500 to add to the system, which buys a lot of years of CHQ support.
