Hi there. I have a client who has a Fronius AC coupled inverter and an Alpha ESS Smile B3 AC coupled battery system that is monitored by the Hive Cloud app. Can ChargeHQ integrate with this system to charge a Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV?
Assuming it’s just a single Fronius solar inverter and the AlphaESS battery, you would just connect the battery to Charge HQ. You can confirm that the connection works using a free account. Follow the AlphaESS configuration guide. The battery should have full visibility of solar production and home energy consumption.
For controlling charging on the Mitsubish Outlander, they will also need to have a compatible smart charger. There’s a list of all the models we support here.
