Would be great to have a setting to enable ‘Maximum Grid Import’, after which EV charging would be throttled down to not exceed this threshold
On these cloudy winter days in Australia, my solar production is down and my grid draw is way up. Because I’m charging my EV primarily from the grid, there have been several times where between my batteries charging (~6.5kW), my EV charging (~7kW) and general household use, I’ve exceed the 63A of my single phase home circuit and it’s popped
Would be good if I could just tell ChargeHQ “Don’t exceed 13kW of grid draw” and have it throttle back the EV charging whenever that happens.
