Recently chargehq lost remote control over my Tesla charging. Along with the error message chargehq saw the vehicle as Model S, not Model Y. Followed all troubleshooting steps, including removing the Tesla account, chargehq keys from the vehicle, rebooting the vehicle touchscreen and reinstalling everything with correct permissions. Everything is connected and online but the pairing still fails. Any idea where to from here?
Hi @kristianhoward . Thanks for your post. You were impacted by a rare bug in the software that Tesla provides for communicating with vehicles. I’ve restarted the software which appears to have fixed the issue.
FYI the issue has been raised with Tesla here.
Cheers,
Jay.
The problem with the Model S / Model Y mixup is unrelated, and is caused by a bug in the vehicle software. More details here: Why does my Tesla display as the wrong model?
Hi Jay,
Thanks for sorting this out.
Kind regards, Kristian
