Pause charging EV at night until the house battery is discharged

Hi there!

I’m looking for directions to configure chargeHQ to pause charging my EV at night until my battery has discharged.

The reason being I have a deal with my energy provider, Origin in Queensland Australia, which gives me 8c per kw while charging my EV at night. So I want to use the battery for the house, not the EV.

Hi Craig. Can Origin separate your EV charging consumption from the rest of your house consumption? Can you provide some information on how this works?

Power companies usually can’t separate the loads at your household, except for those on separate metered circuits such as controlled-load hot water etc.
