When selecting “solar + grid” from the app settings, what time would the app finish charging? If I understand correctly this setting is used when you don’t want to start and stop charging when there is intermittent sunlight. When the PV is producing less than what is needed, the car would charge at the minimum setting (2A in my case). My question is what time would chargehq send signal to stop the charging altogether?
Is it based on my address and sunset time or is some other factor in play?
When solar charging in Solar + Grid mode, charging will be stopped when solar generation falls below 0.2 kW, effectively when there is no more solar. It doesn’t use sunset / sunrise times. This can mean that charging will stop in the middle of the day if there is very heavy cloud and the inverter stops producing any power.
