I am a long time user of Charge HQ. I have set the app to do scheduled charging between 12pm-2pm to take advantage of free electricity during that period. I have solar tracking enabled. In the last week or so charging from the grid has frequently been occurring outside the scheduled charging period. I have trawled through this forum and the Charge HQ users group on Facebook but havent been able to find anything relevant to this issue. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
Hi @pflkent . The problem is that your Tesla is ignoring requests to change the charge amps. We have seen other reports of this problem, caused by a recent software update. You should find that you can’t change charge amps from the Tesla app either.
To fix it, try a both-scroll-wheel reboot of the vehicle.
If that doesn’t help, you could try reporting the issue to Tesla, explaining that you can’t change the charge amps from the Tesla app.
