Hi, for me it would be handy to have a minimum charge rate for the Tesla, above the 5A it can actually charge down to. Maybe under Advance settings like the 32A upper limit?
This arises because in Uk installations often have export limiters which quickly (under 5 seconds) shut down panels if export exceeds some level agreed with the Grid. Because of the slow Tesla server response a cloud going over can turn car charging to minimum (5A on my model Y) but then when the sun comes back the Server is slow to ramp the car up, excess export occurs and panels shut down for a while.
On my system setting a minimum charge rate of 10A stops this. Its likely to happen on many installations though the user may be unaware - you only see it if you watch the export control system or inverter control panels. The best minimum value will depend on the individual system
