ChargeHQ “support” said there were many WPPs of the same version and firmware working correctly. I upgraded firmware, restored firmware, did a hard reset, set up different ChargeHQ accounts, swapped EVSEIDs,… nothing worked.
HAve you tried a hard reset with the internal buttons that 18rabbit described? Here it is again: Related, the Bluetooth problem turned out to be a problem with the factory restore I attempted using the internal buttons. It turns out that almost all the instructions on the web are incorrect. They tell you to press and hold SW201 (CM RESET) and SW202 (RESTORE), release SW202 after 3 seconds, and release SW201 10 seconds later. That is the wrong order. Releasing RESET and then RESTORE with the same timing worked for me.
Some sources also say to hold both buttons down while powering up the EVSE then release in the correct order and timing, but I hav’nt found that to be necessary
I’ve only done reset on the app. Let me try a hard reset with the buttons.
Still no good after doing a hardreset. I tried buying a new one from Amazon but they shipped me another PUP1. I don’t want to open it and install it for the same result.
