According to my solar installer, SolarEdge updated their monitoring portal about 2 weeks ago and in doing so have decided to remove admin-access for end consumers.
It means that I need to get my installer to generate an API key. I’m just waiting for them to do that for me.
Not sure if anyone else has seen that issue, but I’m hoping it won’t affect ChargeHQ’s ability to support SolarEdge inverters!
Looked all over for the admin access. Will call installer tomorrow to see if they know anything about this.
My installer was able to get the API key from SolarEdge Support, but it took a few days of me hounding the installer.
The first key didn’t work, then a few days later I got a 2nd key that worked fine.
Not sure if I’d need Admin access again, but it is a shame that SolarEdge has decided to make things more difficult for consumers.
